APG 是由可再生植物原料制成的非離子表面活性劑，屬于天然、溫和、 綠色產(chǎn)品。其表面張力低、去污力好；溶解性好，耐高溫、耐強(qiáng)堿和耐高濃度電介質(zhì)， 有良好的增稠效果；配伍性能好，能與各種離子型、非離子型表面活性劑復(fù)配產(chǎn)生增效作用，并能顯著的改善配方的溫和性；起泡性好，泡沫豐富、細(xì)膩、穩(wěn)定；與皮膚相容性好，無毒、無刺激、生物降解迅速完全。
烷基糖苷可廣泛使用于個(gè)人護(hù)理及家用洗滌劑如：香波、浴液、洗面奶、洗手液、 沐浴露等化妝品和透明皂、洗衣液、洗潔精等日化洗滌劑領(lǐng)域，特別是在孕嬰化妝品領(lǐng)域得到了消費(fèi)者認(rèn)可。烷基糖苷在高濃度強(qiáng)酸、強(qiáng)堿和電解質(zhì)溶液中具有良好的溶解性、 滲透性和相容性，對(duì)各種材質(zhì)無腐蝕作用，特別適合用于餐具洗滌劑、家居清洗、工業(yè)硬表面清洗、紡織工業(yè)用耐高溫強(qiáng)堿的精煉劑、石油開采用發(fā)泡劑等。APG is a nonionic surfactant made from renewable plant raw materials, belonging to natural, mild, green products.
