IPP廣泛用于化妝品中，具有優(yōu)良的保濕和滋潤皮膚作用。皮膚對本品的吸收性很好，能在皮層內與毛囊有效接觸，滲入皮層深處，并將化妝品中的活性組分帶入，充分發(fā)揮有效成分的作用。作為化妝品溶劑及皮膚保濕劑、滲透劑，棕櫚酸異丙酯可用于溶膠產品、浴油、毛發(fā)調理劑、護膚霜、防曬霜、剃須膏等化妝品中。本品在化妝品中添加量為2-10%。
